In January 2017, the number of residential homes, condos and villas sold decreased for the Hilton Head Island area by -15.1 percent when compared to January 2016. The Beaufort area decreased by -16.0 percent from January 2016. The state total for the number of residential homes, condos and villas sold increased by 2.9% percent.
The median price of residential homes, condos and villas sold decreased for the Hilton Head Island area by -1.0 percent, while the Beaufort area increased by 4.5 percent when compared to January 2016. The state total increased by 5.3 percent for the median price of residential homes, condos and villas sold.
