In December 2016, the number of residential homes, condos and villas sold decreased for the Hilton Head Island area by -14.5 percent when compared to December 2015. The Beaufort area decreased by -11.6 percent from December 2015. The state total for the number of residential homes, condos and villas sold increased by 2.2% percent.
The median price of residential homes, condos and villas sold decreased for the Hilton Head Island area by -0.6 percent, while the Beaufort area increased by 29.7 percent when compared to December 2015. The state total increased by 5.9 percent for the median price of residential homes, condos and villas sold.
