Golf Course Conversions Continue in 2010

For 2010, 94 US golf courses completed a conversion from private to public while 21.5 completed a conversion from public to private.   35% of courses converting from private to public were part of an established “real estate development”.  With regards to green fees, 29% of the conversions from private to public were related to courses that had an average green fee of over $70.00 (including golf car).
