Beaufort County Labor Profile August 2012

For the most recently reported month, the labor pool totaled 65,892.  60,067 individuals were employed while 5,825 were unemployed .  The current unemployment rate is  8.80%.  The labor profile provides a snapshot of Beaufort County residents while also providing industry sector employment statistics as well as income and revenue figures. Additionally, information included consists of wage data, population and growth projections, and skill set information as well educational attainment data.
