South Carolina’s Employment Situation October-December 2011

This section provides comparison data year over year for employees in selected industry sectors.  Sectors included are as follows:   natural resources & mining, construction, manufacturing, trade, transportation & utilities, information, financial activities, professional & business services, education & health services, leisure & hospitality, and government.  With regards to leisure and hospitality, there was a 3.39% (6,700 employees) change in a positive direction when comparing December 2010 with December 2011.
