South Carolina Employment Situation January 2012
This section provides comparison data year over year for employees in selected industry sectors. Sectors included are as follows: natural resources & mining, construction, manufacturing, trade, transportation & utilities, information, financial activities, professional & business services, education & health services, leisure & hospitality, and government. With regards to leisure and hospitality, there were 196,400 employed in the industry in January 2012 as compared to 190,200 in January 2011.
